My world revolves arond music,
I cannot keep quiet I've found,
Classical music's an elegance,
Such a sweet and incredible sound.
Some songs can be funky and others are calm,
Loud music can cause a bit of alarm,
If you listen often your ears it will harm,
But all music carries some charm.
When I play piano I make up a tune,
One that matches the song in my head,
Some people play trumpet, harp or bassoon,
Practice alone in your garden shed.
Music is joyous and music is cool,
I think it's better than diamonds or jewels,
So turn off that console and put away your tools,
And whistle some music on your way to school.
Pluck it or shake it or sing it out loud,
Put on a concert in your living room,
Send out emails to all your friends,
Because music will lighten the gloom.
